Once the design concepts and budgeting have been completed, we can move on to creating our Construction Agreement. The Construction Agreement encompasses the design concepts, construction details, schedule of allowances, and the requirements for construction details are finalized. Once the construction agreement has been executed, the lending and permitting processes will begin. Once you have chosen a lender, we will work with them to make sure they have all of the construction related information necessary to complete the construction loan process. The loan process should take approximately thirty to forty-five days to be completed. While the construction loan is being processed, the proper permitting documentation will be prepared. The building permit will be applied for within one to two weeks after the completion and closing of the construction loan. The typical time frame for obtaining a building permit is approximately two weeks. Once the building permit has been obtained, construction will be started immediately. |
